It was really fun staying here. I would recommend. During the week, it's very peaceful with no one around, and the river is very open. Clear water, friendly people. It actually makes me like the country! And it's close to a lot of great attractions.
We love staying here. The primitive area is always clean and shaded, it is right along the river. The bathrooms are clean, nice and hot water. They are small showers but have never had any problems.
we went on the hottest weekend of the year so far but still had a blast!! Lots of open spaces for any activity! the kids had fun at the river too!
Stayed there this past weekend. First when we got there we had to move our picnic table over to our site. The showers were filthy with june bugs in all of the sinks. The showers had no where to put your stuff while you showered, i had to wait outside the shower and hand my wife her stuff when she was done. If there is a bug problem then move the light outside and shine it in to the area you want to light. The toilet house looks like it was half done. We floated saturday and were disappointed when we had to ride a bus back to our camp ground with 30 other drunken loud assholes! None of the staff ever came around and said hello or asked if we needed anything. We will not be staying there ever again. The grounds could be better with a little work.
